Emergency & Family Dentist in Bronx

I had extreme pain and needed an emergency extraction, I'm not good with dentist. BUT, they came through and helped me relax, I called the same day and seen them a few hours later, the waiting time was short. There office was out of my coverage network, so what yes I had to pay, it was pricey BUT still WELL worth it, the job got done and the pain is gone. I would definitely recommend the Throgs Neck Dental office for their services.

Jack of all trades and…MASTER OF ALL! The latest dental trend seems to be …Do an exam and cleaning and then farm out everything else to other dentists. Doctor Susman, however, does most dental services himself in his office! Crowns, fillings, implants, extractions… the doctor does them all in the gentle and painless manner he is famous for. Dr. Susman and his highly professional and respectful staff never disappoint! And Dr. Susman still has the gentlest touch and kindest manner!

This place needs more stars, I was seen quickly and everyone was nice the nurse was extremely professional and the doctor I must say best dentist I have ever had, she was gentle and caring making sure I didn't feel any pain. This is the best dental office I have ever been to. From check-in, through a cleaning, to seeing Doctor Sussman, I cannot express just how professional, caring, and friendly the entire staff is. I hope to never have to see a different Dentist for a long time. I have finally found a fantastic Dentist and office that does unbelievably fantastic work. My teeth have never looked or felt better.

The front desk receptionists were very attentive and friendly. The dental hygienist did a great job doing my teeth cleaned. I fear dentist and she did everything possible to make feel at ease and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone. Excellent service

A courteous and professional office

I recently got an extraction on a severely infected tooth along with a bone graft. It was definitely a dental emergency and they worked very quickly in getting started same day. My experience was really great here. The employees are friendly and helpful. But the doctor in here is just simply AMAZING!!! Shoutout to Dr. Santos wish I can give 10 stars just because she was super easy going and made the whole process less intimidating. She gave me lots of anesthesia and I hardly felt anything when the work was being done. They are expensive but for the experience and warmth you feel with the doctor and the assistants in the back it’s worth every penny.

Throgs Neck Dental office has been the best dentist office I have ever been to in my 50 years. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dentist had the most gentle hands and took extra care and effort to make my experience almost painless. They have found a customer for life. I highly recommend them.

I say this two different types of ways. As a worldly business owner based upon my own understanding this place is run top notch. But most importantly the relationship that has grown with the dentist and the other staff there was amazing from the start. It was meant to be I walked in those doors. This place is of the good!

Truly the best dental experience I’ve had in years. I was in pain and they were able to see me within a day, they worked with my work schedule as well. I arrived on time for my appointment and had to wait only about 5-10 minutes before I was seen. Dr. Prakash was the sweetest, so gentle and explained things to me so well. She took her time with my procedure and talked me through what she was doing. The dental assistants and front desk staff were also so sweet…10/10 experience!

The moment I walked in, I was greeted and shown the utmost consideration of my fear of dental procedures. Each and everyone took the time to share a hello and provide an amazing experience. Dr. Tanu Prakash is a blessing for someone like myself. She explained everything to me while being sure to allow my questions to be answered, with patience and compassion. My anxiety disorder was met with respect instead of dismissal, and her humor allowed me to work through my thoughts so I could find ways to self regulate. Throughout my procedure, she and her assistants were attentive and focused on walking me through each step. I am more than happy to return for my future care with ease, knowing they truly have the patient's best care in mind. Thank you all for being so exceptional.

I had a wonderful experience with Throgs Neck Dental on my first visit. They have a curitious staff. My tooth extraction was painless and quick in and out of the office. i could enjoy meal after three hours. Their office set in very professional. I would highly recommend to every one.

I made an appointment for my sister who has horrible anxiety and a fear of dentists. Sandy, who made the appointment was amazing. The entire staff was amazing. They were gentle and caring. They took such great care of my sister. I can't stress enough how amazing and comforting Dr. Prakash was so gentle and caring. She was funny and this entire experience was lighthearted. I would highly recommend anyone to go here. However, I would stress that anyone with a phobia and misgivings about dentists, go here! From the moment I made the appointment everyone was just great!! Phenomenal! Thank you to every person in this office.

This dental facility by far is one of the best in so many levels. My mom who is in her 80s needed to see a dentist immediately for a tooth ache. She was a new patient and was seen within the hour of me calling. She was treated with dignity and respect by the entire staff. The secretary, dental assistant who was a great translator and of course the dentist. Dr Prakash was so sweet and caring to my mom that on days that I could not be there to take my mom to her dentist appointment because I have to be at work I felt so relieved and knew my mom was safe and in good hands. Most places no longer respect the elderly nor care for them as they are ignored and forgotten. A tooth ache was cared for with an extensive treatment she required appropriately and I was on board with it. I highly recommend this clean safe honest caring dental place.

The service was great the staff was very polite and friendly. No insurance ? no problem they have many payment options. I had a wisdom tooth extraction no pain during the procedure 5 star service.

Felt very comfortable with the staff there. Got a thorough deep cleaning from Kashina (not sure if I spelled it correctly). She gave me some great tips and the service was amazing. Will definitely be coming back.

I went for a wisdom tooth extraction and bone graft yesterday I was in lots of pain it was my first time there and they made me feel comfortable every one very respectful .it was a fast process I felt no pain thanks too Dr Henna shukla she was great . I left pain free was able to have a nice sleep I woke up fine with no pain at all thanks to Throgs neck dental!!! I would be back again.

Throngs Neck Dental was the best dental experience I have had in my life. I have been traumatized in many of my dental experience and became fearful of going to the dentist. I went in feeling fearful, but I was desperately in need if dental care. The entire staff made me feel safe and concerned about my anxiety. As a first time patient going in for emergency dental needs, I could not have hoped for better treatment. Dr. Santos was very attentive and efficient. She walked me through every step of the operation. Hendy, the dental assistant, helped calm my nerves and made sure I was comfortable throughout. The entire reception team were both warm and professional. They even made sure to call me back when they had a cancellation for an earlier appointment time. It’s my intention to become a regular patient here.

Best cleaning ever and Im only 9 years old

My experience was phenomenal, Julissa and Doctor Shukla made me feel so welcome and at home during my whole time there. They did their best to keep me calm during such a traumatic time. They are both truly the best. All around great service from the time I walked in and was greeted by the front desk to the time I walked out.

After spending a horrifying night in pain, I found Throgs Neck Dental on Google that morning and left a message in their emergency line. To my amazement, I received a callback almost immediately from a doctor who patiently heard my concerns and reassured me that I would be helped and gave me an appointment at 1130am. Once, I arrived, I was called inside almost immediately. Keep in mind that I did complete my forms beforehand which helped. Xray procedures which I hate, were fast and comfortable done by a very kind and professional dental assistant by the name of Julie. She was very attentive and helpful. Then I met, my lifesaver, Dr. Helena Shukla✨ She asked me questions and ran tests until she was absolutely certain of how to proceed with a plan of treatment. I had two root canals done. My dental fears are far gone since my experience with Dr. Shukla. Knowledgable, thorough, with a remarkable respect for patient care…. Dr. Helena Shukla is now my new dentist!
