Throngs Neck Dental was the best dental experience I have had in my life. I have been traumatized in many of my dental experience and became fearful of going to the dentist. I went in feeling fearful, but I was desperately in need if dental care. The entire staff made me feel safe and concerned about my anxiety. This dental facility by far is one of the best in so many levels. My mom who is in her 80s needed to see a dentist immediately for a tooth ache. She was a new patient and was seen within the hour of me calling. She was treated with dignity and respect by the entire staff. The secretary, dental assistant who was a great translator and of course the dentist. Dr Prakash was so sweet and caring to my mom that on days that I could not be there to take my mom to her dentist appointment because I have to be at work I felt so relieved and knew my mom was safe and in good hands. Most places no longer respect the elderly nor care for them as they are ignored and forgotten. A tooth ache was cared for with an extensive treatment she required appropriately and I was on board with it. I highly recommend this clean safe honest caring dental place.

I went for a wisdom tooth extraction and bone graft yesterday I was in lots of pain it was my first time there and they made me feel comfortable every one very respectful .it was a fast process I felt no pain thanks too Dr Henna shukla she was great . I left pain free was able to have a nice sleep I woke up fine with no pain at all thanks to Throgs neck dental!!! I would be back again.

Everything was clean...it was even empty when I entered...I was seen IMMEDIATELY..I came for an extraction....i was got there 11:45..and was out the door by 1:10...quick, professional..all around great for me.

The service was great the staff was very polite and friendly. No insurance ? no problem they have many payment options. I had a wisdom tooth extraction no pain during the procedure 5 star service.

I made an appointment for my sister who has horrible anxiety and a fear of dentists. Sandy, who made the appointment was amazing. The entire staff was amazing. They were gentle and caring. They took such great care of my sister. I can't stress enough how amazing and comforting Dr. Prakash was so gentle and caring. She was funny and this entire experience was lighthearted. I would highly recommend anyone to go here. However, I would stress that anyone with a phobia and misgivings about dentists, go here! From the moment I made the appointment everyone was just great!! Phenomenal! Thank you to every person in this office.

Throgs Neck Dental office has been the best dentist office I have ever been to in my 50 years. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dentist had the most gentle hands and took extra care and effort to make my experience almost painless. They have found a customer for life. I highly recommend them.

Throgs Neck Dental is one of the best dentist office in the Bronx! my experience was a good one and i will be forever be grateful to Tanu Prakash DDS and her assistant for making me feel safe and comfortable while removing a very badly infected tooth. thank you again💯💙

I had extreme pain and needed an emergency extraction, I'm not good with dentist. BUT, they came through and helped me relax, I called the same day and seen them a few hours later, the waiting time was short. There office was out of my coverage network, so what yes I had to pay, it was pricey BUT still WELL worth it, the job got done and the pain is gone. I would definitely recommend the Throgs Neck Dental office for their services.

I've always had a dental phobia and the staff at Throgs Neck Dental were so nice and made my visit comfortable. They explained everything and educated me on what needs to be done and how to properly care for my teeth.

I needed to be attended to ASAP and Throgs Neck Dental pulled through. They gave me a same day appointment and their staff are exceptional. Definitely recommend!

Amazing environment. Very clean, friendly staff. I had Dr. Tanu Prakash, and they were a blessing! Super sweet, so helpful and made the entire visit worthwhile. I usually do not like going to dentist offices, but Dr. Prakash changed my opinion on that!

I hadn’t gone for a cleaning in quite some time Due to the fear I have of the dentist. I just want to say this was the most amazing experience I’ve ever had in a dental office. I’ve only got a cleaning yesterday, but my hygienist was absolutely amazing and I can’t thank her enough.

Truly the best dental experience I’ve had in years. I was in pain and they were able to see me within a day, they worked with my work schedule as well. I arrived on time for my appointment and had to wait only about 5-10 minutes before I was seen. Dr. Prakash was the sweetest, so gentle and explained things to me so well. She took her time with my procedure and talked me through what she was doing. The dental assistants and front desk staff were also so sweet…10/10 experience!

My experience was phenomenal, Julissa and Doctor Shukla made me feel so welcome and at home during my whole time there. They did their best to keep me calm during such a traumatic time. They are both truly the best. All around great service from the time I walked in and was greeted by the front desk to the time I walked out.

Friendly staff, location is clean and welcoming. Dr. Prakash explained the process thoroughly and made it all very seamless. Highly recommended!

This is the best dental office I have ever been to. From check-in, through a cleaning, to seeing Doctor Sussman, I cannot express just how professional, caring, and friendly the entire staff is. I hope to never have to see a different Dentist for a long time. I have finally found a fantastic Dentist and office that does unbelievably fantastic work. My teeth have never looked or felt better.

Best cleaning ever and Im only 9 years old

This place needs more stars, I was seen quickly and everyone was nice the nurse was extremely professional and the doctor I must say best dentist I have ever had, she was gentle and caring making sure I didn't feel any pain. If there was a way to give more than 5 stars, I would give Dr. Susman all the stars in the sky! I am the daughter of a 98 y/o patient. Dr. Susman immediately identified a serious issue with my mother’s implants (placed 30 years ago) she was to other dentists, prior to her visit with Dr. Susman. They found nothing wrong with my mother’s teeth. Within minutes, Dr. Susman identified the problem, which was causing a serious infection. Dr.Susman immediately went to work, removing the affected implants. Using the newest technology, Dr. Susman took measurements, which are the equivalent of the “old school” mould technique The new bridge-like device will be ready in only two weeks. Many people, especially the elderly, suffer serious complications due to infection. Dr. Susman saved my mother from both bothersome teeth and an infection that could have gotten much worse. He is great! I recommend Dr. Susman highly and without reservation.

I had an emergency and walked in. They took me in and took care of my problem without any hassle. Dentist was great and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

After spending a horrifying night in pain, I found Throgs Neck Dental on Google that morning and left a message in their emergency line. To my amazement, I received a callback almost immediately from a doctor who patiently heard my concerns and reassured me that I would be helped and gave me an appointment at 1130am. Once, I arrived, I was called inside almost immediately. Keep in mind that I did complete my forms beforehand which helped. Xray procedures which I hate, were fast and comfortable done by a very kind and professional dental assistant by the name of Julie. She was very attentive and helpful. Then I met, my lifesaver, Dr. Helena Shukla✨ She asked me questions and ran tests until she was absolutely certain of how to proceed with a plan of treatment. I had two root canals done. My dental fears are far gone since my experience with Dr. Shukla. Knowledgable, thorough, with a remarkable respect for patient care…. Dr. Helena Shukla is now my new dentist!

I recently got an extraction on a severely infected tooth along with a bone graft. It was definitely a dental emergency and they worked very quickly in getting started same day. My experience was really great here. The employees are friendly and helpful. But the doctor in here is just simply AMAZING!!! Shoutout to Dr. Santos wish I can give 10 stars just because she was super easy going and made the whole process less intimidating. She gave me lots of anesthesia and I hardly felt anything when the work was being done. They are expensive but for the experience and warmth you feel with the doctor and the assistants in the back it’s worth every penny.

Always a great experience. I am very comfortable and pleased with the work done. The Bronx has very few great dentists and this place in my opinion level of work is a 10. Amazing! This place is just so well organized, and the service was on point. The hygienist was fabulous!

Dr. Shukla is an amazing dentist, kind, patient, listens to you as a patient, and cares about your comfort. I have never been treated better by a dentist, and the team of wonderful ladies at the office on Saturday. I struggled with so much dental anxiety, and Dr. Shukla made me feel at ease immediately. I say this two different types of ways. As a worldly business owner based upon my own understanding this place is run top notch. But most importantly the relationship that has grown with the dentist and the other staff there was amazing from the start. It was meant to be I walked in those doors. This place is of the good!
