From the moment i called to make an emergency appointment, everyone treated me with such an immense amount of kindness and professionalism. Dr. Shukla is an amazing dentist, kind, patient, listens to you as a patient, and cares about your comfort. I have never been treated better by a dentist, and the team of wonderful ladies at the office on Saturday. I struggled with so much dental anxiety, and Dr. Shukla made me feel at ease immediately. No judgement, no shaming, no surprise charges, the lady from the front desk came in to explain the fees. Would highly recommend!! Dr. Shukla you have a patient for life! Thank you!!

I needed to be attended to ASAP and Throgs Neck Dental pulled through. They gave me a same day appointment and their staff are exceptional. Definitely recommend!

This is the best dental office I have ever been to. From check-in, through a cleaning, to seeing Doctor Sussman, I cannot express just how professional, caring, and friendly the entire staff is. I hope to never have to see a different Dentist for a long time. I have finally found a fantastic Dentist and office that does unbelievably fantastic work. My teeth have never looked or felt better.

If there was a way to give more than 5 stars, I would give Dr. Susman all the stars in the sky! I am the daughter of a 98 y/o patient. Dr. Susman immediately identified a serious issue with my mother’s implants (placed 30 years ago) she was to other dentists, prior to her visit with Dr. Susman. They found nothing wrong with my mother’s teeth. Within minutes, Dr. Susman identified the problem, which was causing a serious infection. Dr.Susman immediately went to work, removing the affected implants. Using the newest technology, Dr. Susman took measurements, which are the equivalent of the “old school” mould technique The new bridge-like device will be ready in only two weeks. Many people, especially the elderly, suffer serious complications due to infection. Dr. Susman saved my mother from both bothersome teeth and an infection that could have gotten much worse. He is great! I recommend Dr. Susman highly and without reservation.

Jack of all trades and…MASTER OF ALL! The latest dental trend seems to be …Do an exam and cleaning and then farm out everything else to other dentists. Doctor Susman, however, does most dental services himself in his office! Crowns, fillings, implants, extractions… the doctor does them all in the gentle and painless manner he is famous for. Dr. Susman and his highly professional and respectful staff never disappoint! And Dr. Susman still has the gentlest touch and kindest manner!

I have used Dr Sussman and this dental office for years! I have insurance presently that would cover dental but there is no way I would go anywhere else! This practice is state of the art! Dr Sussman is gentle, very professional and the best in the business! His work is far more superior than any dentist I have used before him! The work he does is done quick, extraordinary quality and most important done with care! It is hard to find these qualities in anything today! He is always there when I need him there is no “we can see you in a month” like these other doctors! If I have an emergency he makes sure to get me in even if he has to come early or stay a little later! Who does that!!! He has filled the office with professional, kind, caring staff that make you always feel welcomed! Honestly this practice is a role model for the way things should be!

After spending a horrifying night in pain, I found Throgs Neck Dental on Google that morning and left a message in their emergency line. To my amazement, I received a callback almost immediately from a doctor who patiently heard my concerns and reassured me that I would be helped and gave me an appointment at 1130am. Once, I arrived, I was called inside almost immediately. Keep in mind that I did complete my forms beforehand which helped. Xray procedures which I hate, were fast and comfortable done by a very kind and professional dental assistant by the name of Julie. She was very attentive and helpful. Then I met, my lifesaver, Dr. Helena Shukla✨ She asked me questions and ran tests until she was absolutely certain of how to proceed with a plan of treatment. I had two root canals done. My dental fears are far gone since my experience with Dr. Shukla. Knowledgable, thorough, with a remarkable respect for patient care…. Dr. Helena Shukla is now my new dentist!

The place is clean and neat

Truthfully one of the best dental experiences ever- from the front desk staff to the dental assistance /hygienist and Dr. Santos are all exceptional. After many years of subpar /traumatic dental care from Medicaid dentist I bit the bullet and decided to go out of pocket with this facility. They have payment plans and also take carecredit . The entire staff was kind and accommodating especially with my dental phobia. I can truly say I will be back for my follow ups and annual check ups. Dr Santos is highly professional and educated on her professional and doesn’t hesitate to educate her patients and answer questions and she’s super funny :). Im more than satisfied with todays visit!

The Ambience has Cleanly, Streamlined, Well-Appointed Interior spaces which provides the perfect environment for High Professionalism, Courtesy and Real CARE. I AM USUALLY INTIMIDATED AND UNSETTLED by a Dental Visit. But I will gladly go back to seek their care again. Kudos to the KIND and valiant efforts of Dr. GENET. Throngs Neck Dental was the best dental experience I have had in my life. I have been traumatized in many of my dental experience and became fearful of going to the dentist. I went in feeling fearful, but I was desperately in need if dental care. The entire staff made me feel safe and concerned about my anxiety. This dental facility by far is one of the best in so many levels. My mom who is in her 80s needed to see a dentist immediately for a tooth ache. She was a new patient and was seen within the hour of me calling. She was treated with dignity and respect by the entire staff. The secretary, dental assistant who was a great translator and of course the dentist. Dr Prakash was so sweet and caring to my mom that on days that I could not be there to take my mom to her dentist appointment because I have to be at work I felt so relieved and knew my mom was safe and in good hands. Most places no longer respect the elderly nor care for them as they are ignored and forgotten. A tooth ache was cared for with an extensive treatment she required appropriately and I was on board with it. I highly recommend this clean safe honest caring dental place.

I say this two different types of ways. As a worldly business owner based upon my own understanding this place is run top notch. But most importantly the relationship that has grown with the dentist and the other staff there was amazing from the start. It was meant to be I walked in those doors. This place is of the good!

My experience was phenomenal, Julissa and Doctor Shukla made me feel so welcome and at home during my whole time there. They did their best to keep me calm during such a traumatic time. I had a wonderful experience with Throgs Neck Dental on my first visit. They have a curitious staff. My tooth extraction was painless and quick in and out of the office. i could enjoy meal after three hours. Their office set in very professional. I would highly recommend to every one.

I hadn’t gone for a cleaning in quite some time Due to the fear I have of the dentist. I just want to say this was the most amazing experience I’ve ever had in a dental office. I’ve only got a cleaning yesterday, but my hygienist was absolutely amazing and I can’t thank her enough.

Great experience feeling so much better now

I recently got an extraction on a severely infected tooth along with a bone graft. It was definitely a dental emergency and they worked very quickly in getting started same day. My experience was really great here. The employees are friendly and helpful. But the doctor in here is just simply AMAZING!!! Shoutout to Dr. Santos wish I can give 10 stars just because she was super easy going and made the whole process less intimidating. She gave me lots of anesthesia and I hardly felt anything when the work was being done. They are expensive but for the experience and warmth you feel with the doctor and the assistants in the back it’s worth every penny.

Everyone is so nice, informative and non-judgmental. Loved it here and will be back.
